Optimism Lorenzo in Le Mans


Le Mans - Jorge Lorenzo was just going to start the French MotoGP race from fifth position. Although lagging behind Honda racers, the world champion is still confident with kansnya the race later.

Lorenzo failed to stem the speed of Hondaracers since the free practice session on the first day. Still unable to compete in the three free practice sessions, Yamaha champ returns must recognize the benefits of his opponents in the qualifying session.

Sitting in fifth position, Lorenzo more than half a second behind Stoner, who won the pole. Struggle Spaniard was predicted to be difficult in the race later, though so he will not lose confidence and remain optimist will be chasing enemies that are in front of him.

"I'm still quite optimistic, I think we were not too far behind Dovizioso and Pedrosa or if I can improve the way I drive and slightly faster in the race, and they had a little trouble, we will be able to be with them," said Lorenzo on Reuters .

Lorenzo is still sitting on top of the standings with four points advantage from Dani Pedrosa in second position. If Pedrosa could be the champions at Le Mans, it is quite possible Lorenzo will be displaced from its position.

"If the other drivers making mistakes and not fast enough while we were a little faster, will open the possibility to continue to fight," complete Lorenzo.
