India Highlight Pakistan In Heaven for Militants

New Delhi - Osama bin Laden was killed in the attack of U.S. forces in Pakistan. Osama's death, the government of India stressed that Pakistan continues to be a haven for the militants.

"We note with great concern that part of the statement in which President Obama said that the gunfire that killed leader Al Qaeda Osama bin Laden's happening in Abbotabad, deep inside Pakistan," said Indian Affairs Minister P. Chidambaram in a statement as reported by the Reuters news agency on Monday (05/02/2011).

"This fact emphasizes our concern that the terrorists who come from different organizations to find refuge in Pakistan,"said a high official of India.

The Indian government has long convinced the U.S. government to be tougher on Pakistan, especially after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008.

"India has been doing this since long observation, that the government of Pakistan to provide support for terrorist groups continue to play alongside the process of denial," said Uday Bhaskar, former director of the Institute for Defence Studies and analyzes based in New Delhi, India.

Government of India has long accused Pakistan protect militant groups which launch attacks on Indian territory, particularly in the disputed territory of Kashmir. Allegations that Pakistan has repeatedly denied.
